Welcome to my web page and thanks for visiting! My name is Jan Andreini-Camps and I've been working at General Myer Elementary School since 1989. I taught 4th grade for 16 years and then became the school counselor. I am originally from Upper Michigan and earned my BS from Northern Michigan University. I also attained my Master's in Educational Counseling as well as my Administrative Certification from the University of Phoenix.
My main goal as a school counselor is to reinforce the importance of having great character and to also help all of our students be successful in school. Therefore, if you ever notice that your child is having difficulty in class, with a peer, with homework or perhaps having a conflict at home that may affect his/her performance in school, please do not hesitate to let me know. You may stop by to visit, contact me via email, or call my office anytime. I am always available to assist in any way necessary and prefer to do so before any problem escalates. I absolutely LOVE to help children and my motto is to help any child in the same manner I would want someone to help my own children.
Again, thanks for visiting my web page and I look forward to having another great year while working with our wonderful students and staff at General Myer Elementary School!
