Dear Fort Huachuca School Community:
It is a pleasure to welcome everyone to the 2012 - 2013 school year and my eighth year as Fort Huachuca Accommodation School District Superintendent. For those of you returning to our school system, I extend to all of you my sincere heartfelt thanks for all the contributions you have made to the successful completion of another outstanding school year. We are pleased to inform our service members of unique resources that are available on-line for parents and students: The SOAR (Student On-line Achievement Resources) Program is designed to help military families identify academic strengths and areas in need of improvement, provide guided instruction to address specific needs, and to provide remediation and enrichment resources in reading and mathematics. You can find the link to the SOAR website at: www.soarathome.org. Tutoring help is available for students and parents through CYSS (Child Youth and School Services) at: www.tutor.com/army.
